| BACKGROUND The Fine Art workshops and seminars focus on the process of artistic communication, the crossing of professional boundaries, and the exploration of the novel field of artistic research as a knowledge-based form of visual production. In addition, the investigation of exhibition models and the position of the curator are issues that continuously emerge. The Master of Fine Art programme intends to provide tools and paradigms in order to create potentialities for learning in media-exceeding ways. Thus, a fine art attitude is created based on a theoretical discourse, analytic skills, a transmedial vision, academic insight, and artistic and creative powers for producing forms of visuality. TOPICAL PROFESSION A topical Fine Art programme requires a network of departments and disciplines. The Master programme of Fine Art Design is developed to create an artistic attitude involving a variety of professional Fine Art skills as well as the capacity to participate in the production of a topical Fine Art discourse. |
