Here you find information about the admission procedure and downloadable application forms for the MA Fine Art and the MA Design.
Please read this information carefully. Use the MA Design Application 08-09 for the MA Design pathways Interior Design, Urban Interior Design, Editorial Design and Fashion Design.

Deadline for application
If you want to apply for the MA Fine Art programme or for one of the pathways in the MA Design program, please send in the application form together with the required enclosures. Application and admission are possible throughout the year. The ultimate deadline for application is: - May 31, 2008

Writing a Project Propopsal
On page five of the application form you are asked to formulated you project proposal, stating the main subject area you wish to research ad how you propose researching it.

Admission procedure outside the Netherlands
Based on your application the admissions committee will decide whether you meet the entry requirements. If additional information is needed you will be contacted. As soon as the admissions committee has made a selection you will receive a letter stating whether or not you have been admitted to the programme. If you are admitted you will receive a registration form with which you can formalize your registration.

Admission procedure in the Netherlands
Based on your application and portfolio the admissions committee will decide whether you meet the entry requirements. The admissions committee will select and invite candidates for an interview. On this occasion you will be asked to answer questions about your portfolio. As soon as the admissions committee has made a selection you will receive a letter stating whether or not you have been admitted to the programme. If you are admitted you will receive a registration form with which you can formalize your registration.

Timely admission is important
In order to ensure that those admitted to the MA programme, can actually start the course in September it is important to apply as soon as possible. Especially students form overseas will need extra time to arrange for visa and funding. Find more information here: Student Service Centre

Course fee
The course fee for the academic year 2007-2008 is 9.250,- (nine thousand two hundred and fifty euros).
There are no institutional grants or scholarships available. For information about scholarships and grants check the grantfinder on the website of Nufffic, the Netherlands organization for international cooperation in higher eduction. Language requirements
If either Dutch or English is not your native language, you need to be able to demonstrate sufficient command of the English language. This can be done through a TOEFL or IELTS test. The minimum score required for a programme at master level is IELTS 6,5 points or TOEFL 233 points (computer based test).
