Nowadays, youngsters are incredibly influenced by foreign cultures. Everyone should be proud of traditions of their countries, and so does every Indonesians. Not that there aren't those who do appreciate, but there are certain portions that do not care about Indonesian culture, particularly the younger generations.

From this condition, the idea of promoting the traditional Indonesian products to international market reflecting the Indonesian identity would also build up the feeling of proud in the Indonesian community about their own culture and tradition. Therefore through this program, the Indonesian society would gradually appreciate their own culture.

In order to properly market a product, I have to find out how I could advertise that particular product. I need to know what role an advertisement occupies in marketing, and how an effective advertisement is created. Inspired by this background knowledge, I am interested in focusing my research on advertisements that are available at the moment. I am interested in how an advertisement could influence its viewers and which design strategy to implement on a particular group of product.

Once the research has been concluded, I will then decide on the best method to brand and advertise the local product effectively.
