Workshop Heineken

Heineken

Heineken is a global beer company with a strong tradition in design. They asked MaHKU to organise a two day workshop for a special project of theirs. The main intention was creative input, not an end product. Participants in this workshop were all students in the Editorial Design and Interior Design departments of MaHKU. We did a quick scan of possibilities, directions and atmospheres, presented concepts and had a beer afterwards.
This workshop proved an excellent opportunity to:
- practice quick concept development
- experience daily practice: ordinary object, exciting questions
- get to know corporate culture, speech and thinking
- get to know the other department and collaborate

A beer, anyone?
Heinekens David is a mobile solution for draught beer. Since its introduction in 2001 it has been sold 70.000 times and is avaliable in 70 countries. The David system has it's first jubilee next year. It wants to offer its markets a limited edition version. This version should look appealing, revolutionary, innovative and different from the current version delivered to the market. The limited edition has a different look and feel without changing the technical specs and performance.
The main goal is to develop a concept for the Limited Edition David.

Here are some of the results from the workshop
