Hein Eberson (1962)  studied photography and graphic design at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam and did his master studies at DasArts, Advanced Research in Theatre and Dance Studies. He has developed his design skills from paper and art projects to websites and now virtual world presences. He now focusses on the emerging 3D-internet: a combination of Second Life, Google Earth, StreetView, Augmented Reality and Super Mario.

Hein Eberson was a manager for Mediamatic between 2002-2004 and now works as a freelance concept and project developer in new media, mostly for cultural and public organisations. He worked for ao. Atelier van Lieshout, Fons Welters Gallery, KPMG, Dandberg Institute, Ministry of Economic Affairs, Theatre Institute of The Netherlands, housing corporation Ymere, Van Gogh Museum and many others.

His designs for "The Other Side of Design" and the "Sculpture"-catalogue for Kröller-Muller Museum (in collaboration with Otto Treumann) won him the ‘best verzorgde boeken’ (Best Book Design) award.

He has been teaching since he graduated from art school and is now course leader and lecturer at the editorial design and fashion design departments.
