EVERY DAY WE HAVE LESS GREEN SPACES BECAUSE OF THE CONSTANT DEMOGRAFIC GROWTH AND INCREASING HOUSING DEMAND. THIS URBAN ACCELERATED GROWTH HAS SHAPED THE MARKET, LETTING IT OFFER LOW QUALITY – HIGH COST PRODUCTS THAT EXCEED A 25-35 YEAR OLD´S BUDGET. AFFORDABLE PRODUCTS ARE SITED ON THE PERIMETER OF THE CITY. IN A BIG CITY LIKE MEXICO, YOU COULD TRAVEL FOR ABOUT THREE OR FOUR HOURS FROM THE OUTSKIRTS TO DOWNTOWN AND VICE VERSA. THIS MAKES YOU WASTE A LOT OF TIME AND DECREASES DRAMATICALLY YOUR LIFE QUALITY. USERS ARE FORCED TO RENT A CENTRIC BUT OVERRATED FLAT.
 


CONCLUSION: BEING A YOUNG HOMEOWNER IN MEXICO CITY IS A VERY TOUGH CHALLENGE AND OPTIONS ARE TOO LIMITED.
 


 

MICROSPACE WILL BE A DEEP INVESTIGATION BASED ON A NEW MODUS VIVENDI. IF PEOPLE, CITIES, POLITICS, TECHNOLOGY AND ECONOMY EVOLVE, WHY NOT CHANGE THE WAY WE LIVE?
 

THE MAIN GOAL IS TO DEVELOP MICROSPACES INSIDE A MINIMUM SHELL OR BOX, MAXIMIZING CONFORT AND FUNCTIONALITY. DYNAMIC, CUSTOMIZABLE AND SUSTAINABLE WILL BE SOME OF THE TRAITS OF MICROSPACE’S NATURE.
