Fashion walks hand in hand with usability and art. If called art, has a huge percentage of usability in it.
Since some years ago thinking towards sustainability is influencing the work of many designers. However , altough sustainability travels warp seed throughout the globe, the pattern which we guide ourselves in remains the same.
We live in a world full of waste, and by reusing already existing garments a whole amount on energy can be spared. My aim is to turn that and shift peoples opinions toward secord-hand garments by turning them into a clean new thing. Clothes are one of the few products that are not used until the end of their lifecycle but until the end of their trendcycle.
Because Fashion should be fun and help us to make feel better about ourselves.
To shift, switch and use basically everything that is in good condition.
To learn to share again.
Helping sustainable thinking, not by stressing strong society moral issues; but just by letting go and enjoy garments on a immutable, intemporal point of view, that mirrors our own perceptions and notions of beauty.
