On Friday April 5, 2013 the eight edition of the Dutch Artistic Research Event (DARE) took place under the title "Modes of Criticality". Keynote speaker: Nikolaus Hirsch, rektor of the Staedelschule Frankfurt and Portikus Kunsthalle. Other guest speakers included artist Lara Almarcegui, curator/programmer Saskia van Stein and editor/publicist Arjen Oosterman.
