Do we perceive our world with our eyes or with our brain? 

Knowledge plays an important role within our perception. Everything you see in your surroundings comes fourth from earlier experiences stored in the brain. Recognising the landscape or objects gives us a comforting image of that world. My work gives new possibilities of seeing. New spaces emerge within the existing space. My installations and video’s test these daily pre-programmed interpretations of the viewer and forces him to search for new references and possibilities.
