Annette KraussLecturer
Annette Krauss (1971) is an artist and lecturer at HKU, Utrecht. In her conceptually based practice she addresses the intersection of art, politics and everyday life. Exploring the possibility of participatory practices, performativity and investigations into educational structures, she is interested in questions of how norms and values control our perceptions, knowledges, and practices in everyday life, and how this contributes towards the development of human relations within specific social contexts. She received her MA in Fine Arts in the Art Academy Malmö, and has participated in the postgraduate Critical Studies Course Malmö, IASPIS Residency program and was part of the conception team of the first children and youth program at documenta 12.
